Love is a journey:
I love my job especially when I get to know my clients as friends. After retuning home to Australia on Thursday from an amazing time in Bali I charged my batteries and prepared for Simon and Ria’s big day. I first met Simon, Ria, Knox and Ivy when I was working out of my studio in Newcastle. Since their first baby photo shoot I have felt a real connection with this family.
When I had the pleasure of photographing Ria and Simon’s engagement shoot, it was such an emotional time for all of us. It was only weeks earlier that we learnt Ria had been diagnosed with cancer and her treatments began shortly afterwards. Even though my thoughts and prayers were with them, it was so difficult having to watch my new friends suffer through such a traumatic experience. Thankfully Ria won her battle with cancer and is now in remission. I feel so honoured and blessed to have been able to photograph their beautiful wedding and go on this incredible journey with them. I will most certainly keep in touch with this beautiful family!
The wedding has an elegant vintage theme and style; everything, even to the smallest detail, was designed with such beauty.
